The Form has been a part of life as consumers and business activity for decades. It seems redundant to write, but forms are the compartmentalization of important data into fields. I believe that they were created as a manner to standardize information, autocratically force people to draw between the lines and dictate neatness. Yet, here in the second decade of the 21st century forms are both a malady and a bonanza. Let me address the malady, of all the types of forms, two stands out as headaches for business on the Internet. Primarily sign up forms, which seek too much data or too little face the challenge of abandonment or fraud. The second malady is shopping cart abandonment, which in the physical world is akin to rushing to an open counter with a cart full of groceries, selected over time with a modicum of effort by the shopper, scanned ready for bags, left at the checkout when the price pops up.
