WebActionHero 3.0
The decision to move to the cloud just got easier with the release of WebActionHero 3.0, furthering the Action Enterprise. It has been a very busy conclusion of the first quarter through the first weeks of the second. We have not only delivered on our clients inputs, but also re-branded the company to better reflect our station as a web based software company. Over the near term we will have more announcements regarding WebActionHero…stay tuned.
The WebActionHero 3.0 release includes new state of the art features that will enhance the functionality and more importantly “client user experience”. Our users will benefit from:
Enhanced Flexibility
We’ve made managing of your actions within WebActionHero even simpler. Now you can add/edit/remove steps from an action workflow on the fly, or change the start/target date of an action easily, without compromising the accountability of a project. Every change made to an action is recorded in the audit trail, which can be viewed/printed for future reference.
High Charts
With this release we have ported all our interactive charts/graphs to the awesome HighCharts Library. Gone are the days of sifting through boring and static tables to analyse your project status. With WebActionHero, you can view the same information now in a stunningly beautiful and faster visual medium. You’ll actually fall in love with your projects :O
Sample Data
New users signing up are now automatically presented with sample projects populated by WebActionHero. To get a better feel of the system, play around with the sample data and once you think you are familiar with the tool, you can delete the sample data. On top of this there is an exhaustive help and FAQ section, that should answer most of your questions. Quick Actions
We understand certain tasks don’t need a detailed workflow or a risk profile, a simple one step action is all you need. Well from this release onwards, you can create an action in less than 10 seconds. Just fill out the action name, a target date and the person assigned and you are good to go. If for some reason you are not happy with the action, remember you can edit the action anytime you want, no worries.
